Product Description
Proven to end urine marking and scratching safely & naturally. Feliway has some of the properties of feline facial pheromones. Pheromones are chemical substances secreted by animals to confirm their territory, to communicate with others & familiarize themselves with their environment. Facial pheromones will inhibit urinary markings when applied to an area. Feliway may be used to stop or prevent urinary marking by cats. Also useful in comforting a cat in an unknown or stressful environment (cage, car, boarding, new house). Will not stain or mark. After using Feliway for 30 days, 59 of 61 cats stopped marking completely.

I purchased this product because I thought my guys were marking; however, after a visit to the Vet, it turned out to be a UTI. Therefore, before recommending a product, I recommend a Vet checkup first.
I added another smaller litter box on the 1st floor. You should clean all litter boxes daily expecially in multicat households, and change litter completely at the first scent of ammonia. Thoroughly clean all areas previously marked with Natures Miracle Stain/Odor Remover, dry, then lightly mist all four corners of the room no closer than 6" to 12" from an object. Feliway has a very calming effect on my cats. Good Luck!

I have to write to tell you that this product is amazing...we had Hurricane Katrina friends staying with us for over a week. They brought their 4 cats plus my 3 all inside my small house. I remembered the Feliway that I had purchased and sprayed it around the house.Within 15 minutes,my youngest cat,Lola,who had been cowering in fear for 3 days came out and started PLAYING with the others!! I couldn't believe it! This is a great product and I didn't mind the smell,because it's mostly alcohol that evaporates in minutes...thank you for this product!! Jan F.

The spray was recommended by our vet years ago for our cat who has inappropriate peeing issues - on our bed, the beanbag chair, etc... as long as we use this spray regularly the problem has gone away. This stuff is priceless! We didn't have any success with the diffuser though - only the spray works for us.

The spray has helped a lot. Forget the plug-in diffuser. Our boy cat has been spraying/marking because of outside animals, so when we spray this on the doors, it deters him. The key is to spray EVERY night and EVERY morning, and to hit every spot where he might spray (under windows, etc.). Also recommend Rescue Remedy drops in the cat's food or water, or behind their ears. Together with the Feliway, it's the only thing that has worked. (Don't do more the 4-5 drops at a time.)

A vet recommended this product for our cat who freaks out every time a storm approaches and hits, &/or when we have really windy days. We use the spray version instead of the plug-in since kitty doesn't confine herself to one room or limited space. We spray in all her favorite 'hidey-holes' when a storm is approaching & on windy days. Normally, she meows like she's being tortured and hides. After spraying FeliWay around the rooms she's going to & concentrating on her hiding places, i.e., under the bed, in closets, etc., she calms WAY down, stops meowing. Having done animal rescue for 20+ years and working at vets' offices, I find this is much easier--and safer--than giving Valium or Prozac or any other meds. We wouldn't be without this product!! Highly recommend!!!!
