I purchased this for my parents who have been having extreme trouble with the neighbor's nasty little Boston terriers. (Dad works swing/graveyard and couldn't sleep during the day.) Had Dad build a partial shelter, as I didn't want this thing getting wrecked by the rain. Mom says its been four days of "PEACE" which has been wonderful. I didn't think the Super Bark Free would be so effective, but my parents say otherwise! The dogs bark a couple of times and each time the SBF goes off they shut up and run for the porch! They have it on the lowest setting, too. The SBF is AWESOME.

I have been using the product for about a month and definitely recommend it. The amount of overall barking has been cut down by 80-90% (see below). Our neighbor's dog would bark for 1/2 hour non-stop several times a day to be let in the house and our lazy/uncaring neighbor would just let the dog bark away. This unit cut down on this type of barking by 95%.
There are a bunch of caveats to be aware of: 1)My unit is 20 feet from the dog pointed directly at him with no obstructions, 2)the sensitivity is set almost at the maximum and to one bark so the unit does go off randomly 5-10 times a day (completely inaudible to humans on the ultrasonic setting but it may interfere with the Pavlov training intent of the product) and 3)this will not completely silence the nusiance dog (he will still bark when other dogs pass by, at squirrels, etc. which is perfectly acceptable to us as this is reasonable barking).
The company had a reasonable return policy if the unit did not work as intended. I gave it 4 stars because they really should include the AC plug with the unit. In addition to buying this unit, I also recommend looking up your local town ordinances, there will most likely be a law against "nusiance" dogs.

Results after deploying this device against two different varieties of barking dog showed dramatically different results.
It was extremely effective against a habitually barking mutt that lives next to my girlfreind, and whose oblivious owners allow it to yap incessantly for hours. The animal's barking was almost immediately curtailed within minutes of the Bark Free being emplaced around 30 feet from the offending animal. The dog actually runs from the sound!
However, the Bark Free apparently fails to recognize as barking the high-pitch yapping (shreiking, really) of the despicable Yorkshire Terrier next door to me, and doesn't activate when the creature shreiks, which is frequently. When I manually activate the device in test mode, it seems to have an effect, and the beast shuts up temporarily, but it is obviously a very inefficient technique for using the device.
Hopefully the maufacturer can at some point in the future address this defect, and adjust the sensitivity controls to take into account the various frequencies that different dog breeds emit. The effect on the mutt next door to my girlfriend is dramatic, and provides blessed relief from a previously extremely obnoxious and irritating blight of noise, while my issue with the shrieking Yorkie next to me remains unresolved.

This has been very effective and reduced the amount of noise (barking) from the neighbor's dog by at least 80%.

We have had the unit for almost a year. The dog next door would start barking around 2 am and go on for over an hour. After yelling at the dog for a couple of weeks and getting no where I finally made my husband knock on the neighbors door at 2am. If I was going to be up at 2am so were they. I don't know how they could be asleep with all the noise. They didn't care so I had to do something and this device saved us. It works great, barking has been cut down by over 75% and almost non-existent at night. The device now makes a noise when it goes off so I think its time to buy a new one even so this is the best money I have ever spent.
