Product Description
Urinary tract infections are a common problem with cats, which can cause a lot of discomfort and eventually lead to serious health problems. The natural cranberry extracts in M&C Catberry Treats help prevent micro-organisms from attaching to the cell lining of the urinary tract which helps prevent infection. A totally natural product, providing a good source of taurine which is an essential protein for good health in cats. They are a flavored cereal outer shell and tasty cream filling. Directions: Kittens - 1 to 2 Treats daily, Cats - 2 to 4 Treats daily.

5 out of 5 stars MMMMMM Good   November 23, 2007
D. Stull (Fremont, OH United States)
When I first purchased these, my cats wouldn't touch them either. After a few attempts over a couple of days, I gave up, sealed the bag and put it away.
Then ... about 4 months later, I ran across them and thought I would give it another try.
The cats LOVE them!!!!! Can't get enough of them!

The only thing I can think of - which is what the other reviewer mentioned - that they smell too strong fresh out of the bag. Once the smell calms down, they love the taste.

I highly recommend these treats. (my cats do too! :-)

4 out of 5 stars My cat LOVES them!   September 1, 2007
A. Crandall (Columbus OH)
I bought these treats several months after getting my first cat - simply because the name was "Treat Ums" and I thought it was cute. My cat LOVES them. She waits every morning for her 2 treats and will let you know if she doesn't get them. She gets the Catberry treats at the same time every day and knows it! She does get other treats, but its the Catberry that she will beg for. I highly recommend these treats - whether or not they've helped her urinary tract, I don't know - but she likes them a lot.

2 out of 5 stars Potent Smell   February 16, 2007

I was skeptical about this product simply because cranberry doesn't seem to be a flavor cats would enjoy. It has a pungent tartness I imagined cats would avoid, and I was correct to an extent. Right out of the bag, these treats have a STRONG smell. Part cranberry, and part.. well, the outer coating has a peculiar aroma. I was really hoping our male cat would suffer the cranberry to enjoy the smelly crust, and it seemed he felt the same way. Hes eaten a few, but always taking his time and leaving gooey cranberry bits laying about. Now I think he's learned and won't touch'em.

1 out of 5 stars Cat treats that cats will not eat   December 17, 2009

My cats do not like and will not eat the Catberry treats. They usually eat anything just about. I should not have bought 3 packs without knowing whether my cats would eat them. Be sure your cat likes them before buying more than one pack.

1 out of 5 stars My cat hates the Catberry treats.   April 28, 2010
R. Gabaud (Florida)
My cat won't even go near it. I tried everything the former review said about leaving it for a while and give it again. My cat hates these treat. This was a waste of money. My cat does like the Vet's Best Urinary Tract Infection tablets. There a little higher in price but worth it. Good luck to you and your cat.
