Lots of fun! October 16, 2009 gadget girl (Wisconsin, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These whistler balls are a lot of fun. They are lighter weight than the orange and blue rubber balls and they make a slight whistle noise as they fly. Its not an obnoxious high pitched whistle like I thought it might be, but more of a whooshing whistle. It's quiet enough to not drive the neighbors nuts, but loud enough the dogs can hear and track the ball's flight easier. They're durable and I throw them in the dishwasher to get the slobber off. They also fit in the normal sized Chuckit thrower.
Excellent change-up from the stock Chuck-it ball!! August 27, 2009 Alton Brown jr. (Milwaukee WI) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My dog Mya (pitbull-mix) loves this new ball. It files the same distance as the rubber Chuck-it ball, but it whistles the whole filght. It is totally washable and Mya slobers all over it during play. During the Winter months I used to throw a bad boyz for her becuase she really liked the sound that came from that toy. I think I will use this ball instead.....!
Great Alternative to the Tennis Ball Type October 27, 2009 Leslie M. Ficcaglia (Port Elizabeth, New Jersey USA) The Chuckit is our standard-sized labradoodle's favorite toy, but the tennis-ball-style projectiles that come with it never lasted. Sooner or later (usually sooner....) she'd chew the cover and we'd have to replace the ball. These rubber alternatives are perfect; the soft whistle helps Chouette track them and she can chew on them for a long time without our having to worry that she'll swallow something that would hurt her. They are sturdy and we haven't had to replace one of these yet. I found them by accident in a pet store, and I'm very pleased with them.
My dogs favorite toy...paws down! November 13, 2009 P. Smits (Wisconsin) This is my black lab's absolute favorite toy. I think she likes it because it flexes in her mouth (because of the whistling hole). TOTALLY durable and the blue is an easy color to find when outside playing.
This is a great procuct. January 9, 2010 Leslie C. Smith (Colorado) I have an older Rat Terrier that only played with one ball. That ball was accidently destroyed. I tried several other balls with no luck. I then tried this one and he took to it immediately. My Jack Russel was so intrigued, that she took the other one in the pack and we have never looked back. Great product when two terriers can not destroy them.
